We are More than Conquerors.
Over the last few weeks we have seen scripture after scripture that encourages us to keep our eyes up and on God. We know that He calls us to live a different way, a better way, with courage and strength. This central theme to perseverance is found strongly in Romans chapter 8. One of the most powerful scriptures of the chapter comes in verse 31..
31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
Who can be against us? What a statement. If you have the God of the Universe on your side, what are you worried about?
Of course living out scripture goes beyond acknowledging the truth in it.It means putting it into action.
Paul’s encouragement to the church reveals that God did not keep Jesus from us, but instead gave Him so we might be reconnected to the Father through Christ. An Amazing act of grace and love.
It is in this act that we find faith. God is for us. No one can separate us from His love. Powerful words.
Our challenge then is to put these words into action… and step out in faith into the things he directs us.
Will you accept the challenge?
