We love Paris. Who doesn’t?!
The City of Lights is an amazing city – a center of culture, fashion, art, thought – home to people from across the world that make up her diverse demography. Our focus as a church to reach out to the international community of greater Paris is based on one of the most core Christian beliefs -God loves people. We want to see more people experience a personal relationship with him. We want to see people embrace Jesus as Lord and Savior. It is this message of the Gospel that is hope for our city.
In this thought we are starting 2013 with a simple statement: Pray For Paris.
We have challenged our community to start the first 21 days of 2013 with Prayer & Fasting. Our focus will be both for personal spiritual breakthrough and for the people of Paris. We believe that prayer makes a difference; a difference we want to experience as we enter into this new year.
We see from scripture many examples of God answering prayer. One example is our key scripture for our #PrayForParis focus in 2 Chronicles 7:14
“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
We are believing that people will come to know Jesus in 2013.
